#SO MANY PARALLELS HERE #freddie has spent the last however many years telling carly he ‘loves’ her but he never says it once this episode #and when she tries to say it to him he stops her because he knows she doesn’t mean it #but in iLY he says it to sam for the first time but it means more than the dozens of times he’s said it to/about carly #and when sam says it back he doesn’t stop her because he knows she means it just as much as he did #when he breaks up with carly she kisses him on the cheek and leaves as he goes down #when he and sam break up they kiss and then take the elevator up to kiss some more #(and y’know whatever else happened in that elevator) #i just #there’s no way this stuff isn’t on purpose okay #NO WAY
